Description

I Sovrani del Nulla - The Lords of Nothing

Gods, Heroes, Saints. They used to be the Lords of the world, mankind's Saviors, patrons and guardians, pure examples of virtue. But now people have forgotten them, they've left myths behind, put off sacred halos, and relegated the numinous at the edge of a pragmatic and materialistic society on the way of perishment.
Humanity gave up eternity in favor of fleeting contingency

Characters: Hades and Persephone in Greek mythology was respectively the king and the queen of Underworld. A day Hades seen young Persephone picking flowers on a field. He falls in love with her and He abducted her. So He led her in underground where He married her.
Life came to a standstill as the devastated Demeter, Persephone's mother and goddess of the Earth, searched everywhere for her lost daughter. Helios, the sun, who sees everything, eventually told Demeter what had happened.
Finally, Zeus, pressed by the cries of the hungry people and by the other deities who also heard their anguish, forced Hades to return Persephone. However, it was a rule of the Fates that whoever consumed food or drink in the Underworld was doomed to spend eternity there. Before Persephone was released to Hermes, who had been sent to retrieve her, Hades tricked her into eating six pomegranate seeds, which forced her to return to the underworld for six month each year. When Demeter and her daughter were united, the Earth flourished with vegetation and color, but for some months each year, when Persephone returned to the underworld, the earth once again became a barren realm. This is an origin story to explain the seasons.
